Vita
Born in Kassel in 1991. Classical piano, jazz and organ education. Church organist from 2009 to 2011. Composition for art and documentary film from 2011 to 2013.
First prize at Jugend Komponiert Berlin-Brandenburg in 2013 and Paul Hindemith scholarship from 2012 to 2013. Bachelor’s studies in historical and contemporary composition at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin from 2013 to 2018.
Travels and musical studies in India from 2018 to 2019. Co-founder of the Berlin urban arts and music collective MOSAIK in 2020. Music teaching at TonArt Berlin.
Live performances under the names AMEN ’91, Jonas Sternkind, EKAWA and Amen The River. Artist in residence at Living Forest, Corfu, from 2023 to 2024.
